Large-eyed Pit Viper For Sale

Trimeresurus macrops

The Large-eyed Pit Viper (Trimeresurus macrops) earns its name from disproportionately big eyes tuned for low-light hunting across Thailand's bamboo and deciduous forests. This widespread arboreal ambusher takes frogs, lizards and small mammals, and is generally calmer than its relatives, though its hemotoxic venom keeps it firmly an advanced-keeper species requiring careful, respectful husbandry.
