The Black-headed Reed Snake (Sibynophis melanocephalus) is a slender, fast-moving ground hunter of Thai leaf litter, marked by a contrasting dark head atop a slim body. Completely harmless and calm enough to handle easily, it preys on small lizards and their eggs. An excellent starter species for keepers stepping beyond common colubrids.

Small pre-killed skinks or lizards. Every 5 – 7 days.
