Mangrove Cat Snake For Sale

Boiga dendrophila melanota

The Mangrove Cat Snake (Boiga dendrophila melanota) is a glossy black serpent ringed with brilliant yellow bands, prowling Thailand's coastal mangroves after dark. Though only rear-fanged and mildly toxic, it is a surprisingly powerful constrictor that takes birds, bats and lizards. Defensive when young but typically settling, it makes a truly impressive display species.
